I teach the benchrest and isosceles firing positions to students of both courses (not required by the NRA for First Steps students) and the integrated act of firing one well aimed shot (not required by the NRA for either course).
I provide .22 rimfire handguns and ammo at no charge.  We can conduct the live fire with a centerfire handgun (several models are available for students to use).  Student may also opt to use his own centerfire handgun.  If the student opts to use a centerfire handgun he must purchase at least 50 rounds of professionally made ammunition.  It is not uncommon for a student to shoot 100 rounds in this course.
